- Preparatory Turkish Language Programme for Universities
Turkey is becoming an important and preferred destination for international students. The programs in which medium of instruction is Turkish also becoming extremely popular among international students. TÖMER opens the door to all international students coming to study in Turkish to learn Turkish language at Turkish Language Preparatory Programme. Learning a new language is embarking on a new adventure. TÖMER is looking forward to everyone who wants to study degree programmes of Turkish universities. International students can come and join language preparatory programme even if they do not intend to study a degree programme or make their decision on the programme or university to study.
It is a 1 academic year program designed to gain Turkish language proficiency required to attend university programs where the medium of instruction is Turkish. The program consists of 5 levels established within the framework of Common European Framework for Language Proficiency.
A1 – Breakthrough
A2 – Waystage
B1 – Threshold
B2 – Vantage
C1 – Effective Operational Proficiency
At the end of each course in the fields of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, students take an end-of-course achievement exam in the same fields, and those who are successful are entitled to continue to the next level.
Students who successfully complete the courses are given a TÖMER Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate.
Each course includes 120 hours of lessons and other supportive studies.
